Sirti can produce the best solutions for the design and realisation of traditional and innovative line and station signalling systems for railways, subways and tramways thanks to its know-how, experience and the centre of expertise in Genoa.
The traditional systems include ACEI systems (remote control of position of points and main and shunt signals), BACC systems (coded automatic blocking system), Automatic level crossings and SCMT (train control systems).
The Genoa centre of expertise has developed innovative control systems and railway station command systems for railway lines (CTC – centralised traffic control). The Genoa centre also developed software for the automatic design, checking and confirmation of the ACC systems.
The new Multi-station Computerised interlocking system (ACC-M) integrates the traffic supervision functions on railway lines and junctions with the local station command functions and train spacing requirements on the lines, all in compliance with the Cenelec regulations (European committee for electrotechnical standardization). The system also diagnoses the field devices and equipment and shares the data needed for the secondary traffic management systems such as the public announcement systems and the traffic reporting systems.
Sirti’s ACC system offers excellent performance in terms of reliability and efficiency in terms of volumes, consumption and reduced costs thanks to the latest technology and procedures, the specifically developed hardware and software platforms, equipped with widely distributed components and the simple and easily understood graphical interfaces.
Finally the system allows railway circulation to be optimised in terms of efficiency, regularity and safety.
