LOIOLA: “THIS AGREEMENT IS A FUNDAMENTAL STEP FORWARD IN OUR GROUP’S STRATEGY.
IT IS IMPORTANT TO CONTINUE THE COMPANY’S TRANSFORMATION IN THE FACE OF DIGITALISATION AND TO CONTINUOUSLY IMPROVE EFFICIENCY AND PRODUCTIVITY”
Milan, 3 July 2018 – Sirti’s strategic plans rolls on and, with the recently concluded TIM agreement, strengthens the company’s leadership position in the creation and digitalisation of infrastructure in the country.
The agreement sees the renewal by TIM of the multi-year assignment to construct and maintain the fibre and copper network and to deliver the service to TIM customers.
The agreement also marks an important milestone in the relaunch plan for the new Sirti which was presented last March.
The Sirti CEO, Roberto Loiola, said: “This agreement is a fundamental step forward in implementing our strategic plan. We are very pleased to confirm the partnership for the next few years which has always bound us to the TIM customer. The creation of incremental value for the customer is one of our strategic pillars, as is the digitalisation of the production processes and the services supplied. The commitment reached with TIM will require, not just from our company, but from our entire ecosystem, the ability to increase productivity and efficiency through a process of continuous improvement but also through a greater drive for innovation. In this sense, Sirti is investing heavily” continued Loiola, “using new operational models and experimenting with new technologies such as artificial intelligence and augmented reality in order to enhance the abilities of the workforce and to make operations in the field much easier”.
