Sirti has a Competence Centre for the design and construction of line and station  signalling systems, both traditional and innovative, for rail, subway and tramway lines. All developed signaling systems are in accordance to Cenelec SIL4 rules.

Sirti is able to design and implement:

• CTC (Controllo Traffico Computerizzato): Centralized Traffic Control
• ACC-M (Apparato Centrale Computerizzato-Multistazione): Computer Based Interlocking System 
• ACEI (Apparati Centrali Elettrici a pulsanti di Itinerario): Relay based Interlocking System
• Software tools for the automatic design of signalling systems and for the validation of ACC systems

Moreover, Sirti has the expertise to install and activate technologies along the line such as the SCMT systems (Automatic Train Control systems) and Relay Interlocking systems.
