Moreover, in the innovative signalling sector, Sirti Competence Center has developed a new generation CTC (Centralized Traffic Control) system for the command and control of all the stations, attended or unattended, of a railway line and an innovative CBI (Computer Based Interlocking) multi-station system (ACC-M) for the safe management and control of the traffic on railway lines and centers (no matter how complex they are) from a central control point. All these systems are developed according to Cenelec SIL4 rules and allow to optimize the railway traffic in terms of effectiveness, regularity and security.

TAV: Italian “High Capacity / High Speed” railway lines project.
Within the “Consorzio Saturno”, Sirti is in charge of the design, implementation and commissioning of all the telecommunications network and systems, including the GSM-R network. In addition Sirti shares with the other partners the design and the realization of the electric traction lines (contact lines and primary lines), the implementation of the tunnel safety measures and the procurement and the installation of security and video surveillance systems along the railway lines and at the sites along the lines.
